BRIGHOUSE ELEMENTARY – CONSTRUCTION UNDERWAY
The construction phase of the new Brighouse Elementary School is well underway.
A copy of the construction schedule for the project can be seen at www.brighouse.ca. In brief, we expect the main building to be completed next year in time for us to move in over Spring Break, or mid March, 2011. Following that we will demolish the existing building, construct an addition to the existing gymnasium, and complete landscaping and siteworks. We expect the total project to be completed in time for the beginning of the school year in September, 2011.
Below is a picture of the new glulam beams and finished roof deck.
