School District No. 38 (Richmond) is an exciting, multicultural, educational organization that provides public education for 22,000 students K-12 and boasts the highest graduation rates in BC. The Richmond School District takes pride in our safe and caring schools that welcome and support children of all backgrounds and ability levels, as well as having a collaborative environment that values and supports its educators.
Personnel Services provides support to over two thousand employees – all of whom play an important role in educating the learners in Richmond Schools. Because “our focus is on the learner”, it is our responsibility to attract, hire and assist dedicated employees who share in our purpose.
Our department provides the following key services for new and prospective employees:

• Liaison with Teacher Education Programs
• Practicum Placements
• Liaison with Employee Unions (BCTF, CUPE)
