School Catchment Areas
School catchment areas are defined and approved by the Board of School Trustees in the district document “Secondary Boundary Descriptions” and “Elementary Boundary Descriptions”. You may read the elementary school boundaries or secondary boundaries descriptions on this website or look up which schools are in your catchment area. For further information, you can contact the School District Office at 604-668-6083 or 604-668-6087.
A student will normally register at and attend the school located in the catchment area in which their parent’s or legal guardian’s place of residence is located. Transfer requests to other schools can be made once registration has been completed at the catchment school.
Where do I Register?
A BC resident student who wishes to enroll in a Richmond school may register in the following locations during the specified time periods:

English
To be guaranteed a place in the English catchment school, parents and legal guardians new to the district must register their children in person by June 15th, 2012. Placement in these programs will be determined through a district-wide draw process, with sibling priority.
