Advanced Placement Program
All other secondary schools in Richmond offer accelerated courses which include first year university topics through the Advanced Placement Program and/or partnerships with universities or colleges in response to student demand. They may take the place of your secondary courses or they may be offered as an additional course after you have completed both Grade 11 and Grade 12 requirements in a subject area. Students may choose one or more AP courses which are accepted by many universities for advanced credit or advanced placement.

For more information about Advanced Placement courses and other opportunities in your school please talk to your counsellor.
