The Richmond School District and the City of Richmond are collaborating to promote February as ERASE Bullying Month and we are inviting everyone to wear something pink on February 28th. Our collective goal is to ensure that Richmond is a respectful, safe, caring and connected community that values individual differences.
This year's ERASE Bullying winning poster is copied below and was designed by Kealsha Wong, a grade 11 R.C. Palmer student. Kealsha has a passion for helping others and beleives that we can all contribute to making a connected community. "Support is important to everyone in the community and connection means being there for others.” Kealsha enjoys the creative process, and while her future goals are to go to University to study sciences or business, she says that art is a lifelong pastime that helps her manage stress.
We encourage everyone to share Kealsha's winning poster and to wear pink on February 28!
