Effective elementary learning environments engage students in an active, purposeful process of building positive, realistic attitudes towards self and society; forming personal understandings; developing life-long skills; and acquiring a strong knowledge base. Our schools encourage students to engage in extracurricular activities and foster friendships in and out of the classroom. Additionally, they provide the opportunity to benefit from diversity and cultural awareness. The following section provides an example of elementary programs offered throughout the district.
