Please note that on Friday, February 16, the Richmond School Board office will be closed. The office will re-open to the public on Tuesday, February 20.

Black History Month

Every February, the Richmond School District celebrates Black History Month, and the many achievements of Black Canadians who, throughout history, have contributed greatly to making Canada the culturally diverse, compassionate, and prosperous nation it is today.
 

As part of Strategic Priority 5, the Richmond Board of Education is deeply committed to supporting a connected learning community where our students' voices are not just encouraged but embedded in our educational endeavors.  

A webinar series on Zoom for parents and caregivers to understand and support SD38 initiatives around inclusion and belonging.

January 27 marks the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp as International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

The district will try to determine school closures due to inclement weather by 6:30 a.m. Updates will be delivered using social media and school and district websites.
